Seydou Zerbo, a player for Burkina Faso, has expressed his displeasure over Nana Yaw Amponsah, the club’s CEO, apparently not returning his calls.
Amponsah’s three-month salary arrears were allegedly settled after he left the squad, and Zerbo claims he tried to contact him about it.
Zerbo revealed that Asante Kotoko had canceled his contract after losing to Medeama in Kumasi in his first interview since leaving the team.
The coach acknowledged the decision but highlighted the need of carrying out the agreed-upon contractual obligations following the termination.
He told Fox FM, “We made an agreement that I would receive three months’ compensation following the termination of my contract, but I haven’t gotten anything as of this point.
I’ve called Nana Yaw Amponsah numerous times, but he never picks up. The situation is the same despite the fact that I have sent him numerous messages, thus my current course of action is to compile all the necessary paperwork and denounce the club to FIFA.
“I’ve been told that a new board will be named. If they don’t resolve the situation and pay my salary arrears, I’ll have to turn to FIFA.
