The former Asante Kotoko assistant coach and the club have mutually parted ways, the club said on Wednesday.

Laryea had two seasons as a player with the Accra-based team, the first from 2001 to 2003 and the second toward the end of his career in the 2012–2013 league season.

He was in charge of the squad when they competed in the UEFA four-nation tournament in 2023 when they finished as champions after winning every game.
After Slavko Matic was forced to step down midway through the 2022–23 betPawa Ghana Premier League season, David Ocloo, who had first joined the team as an assistant coach, was chosen as the interim head coach.
Hearts of Oak only avoided relegation on the penultimate day of the season by placing 12th overall.
In September 2023–2024, the Ghana Premier League is anticipated to begin.
From 2002 through 2010, Kingston was part of Ghana’s Black Stars. He has previously worked at the Right to Dream Academy as a youth team coach.
