Ghana cannot afford to miss the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, according to Medeama SC captain Moses Armah Parker.
The four-time winners of the African championship were placed in Group I with Mali, Comoros, Madagascar, the Central African Republic, and Chad.
The qualifying rounds are anticipated to start later this year in November.
The former Black Stars Management Committee Member claims that the group is an easy one and that Ghana will therefore qualify for the FIFA World Cup despite the Black Stars’ recent poor play.
Personally, I believe Ghana is favored by the draw. Ghana would undoubtedly get to the World Cup, Mr. Parker told Adom FM.
He did, however, also issue a plea for support for the team’s head coach Chris Hughton from the entire nation.
“We need to lend Chris Hughton our support because he recently started his position. We must also be well-prepared and take action, he added.
The Black Stars, who previously competed in 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2022 in Germany, South Africa, Brazil, and Qatar, respectively, are attempting to earn their fifth World Cup qualifying.
