Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak have been strongly cautioned by Ghanaian football great Ibrahim Sunday to stop bringing in untalented players in an effort to boost their game.
With a distinguished career and a plethora of knowledge, Sunday’s open counsel serves as a call to action for both clubs to prioritize smart decision-making in their player recruitment methods.
“Any player shouldn’t join Asante Kotoko at all, in my opinion. It is not a club where a player is sent to Kotoko to play as soon as he proves himself in a hamlet, according to Ibrahim Sunday, speaking on Oyerepa FM.
Before a player is transferred to Kotoko or Hearts of Oak or called up to the national team, it is important to determine his talent and potential.
However, no player from any town has ever been signed by Asante Kotoko or Hearts of Oak before being played for them.
